The exhibition showcases the most tragic moments in the history of the university; the Nazi occupation and the six-year period during which the university was closed. It presents the stories of faculty members and students and the variety of reactions to the dramatic events in the history of the nation and the school itself, from resistance to collaboration, and it studies in a sensitive manner the individual motivations of people and the academia in general.
