MUNI 100 exhibition

Commemorating the 100th anniversary of Masaryk University is an unusual exhibition that has been prepared in cooperation with the Moravian Gallery. The result is an unusual blend of the artistic style of the gallery’s own exhibitions with the scientific and professional approach of the university. It is not an exhibition focusing on facts and explanations but rather on the atmosphere of the school.

The unifying element of the exhibition is a library which, during the exhibition, will be filled up with the titles of theses of the alumni. The exhibition will walk its visitors through the history of the university and show them the insignia of the rector and faculty deans; and it will try to explain them the relations between the school and art, teaching and science. Ultimately, visitors will encounter the current faces of the university represented by the letters MUNI which represent the new logo of the university.
