Directed by Robert Sedláček and Radim Procházka, Czech Television, 1999, 101 min.The film serves as the reconstruction of events between 17 November 1989 and the end of 1989 from the perspective of the main personalities associated with the Velvet Revolution. It paints the most complex picture so far of the events in Prague and all over the country and how they unfolded.

Authors: Miroslav Vaněk et al., Academia, 2019Written as part of a research project of the Institute for Contemporary Studies of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the book introduces the life stories of then-students in November 1989. Included in the project is a documentary entitled Mladí mladým. Mozaika revoluce (the Institute for Contemporary History of the Czech Academy of Sciences – Czech Television, 28 min.).

Staříci / movie screening
Directed by Ondřej Provazník and Martin Dušek, endorfilm – Czech Television, 2019, 90 min.“None is going to wipe their ass with freedom,” say an 80-year-old soldier and former political prisoner (played by Jiří Schmitzer) to his friend (played by Ladislav Mrkvička). Inspired by a true story, the movie reflects the issue of post-November justice and the prosecution of the crimes of the communist regime.
