Artificial intelligence has done what Elon Musk had predicted – it stole programmers’ jobs. Large corporations such as IBM, RedHat, Honeywell etc. have gone bust, and highly sought- after experts are suddenly unemployed and dirt poor. To save their failing marriages, some of them decide to choreograph a strip show for women, going all the way.
The ProFIdivadlo student drama ensemble was founded in 1998 as a spontaneous activity within the Faculty of Informatics. Since 2006 students from all faculties can actually take an elective course which consists in the participation in this theatre.

The B-Side Band is one of the most sought-after bands of its kind. It is a multi-genre and independent ensemble which matches with Vojtěch’s persona through its internal energy and crowd interaction. One of its most significant assets is the ability to bring to its listeners a modern and colourful big band sound and engage the crowd. In addition to jazz standards and well-known big band songs they sometimes surprise the audience with swing cover versions of rock and pop songs.

EXPO MUNI Zone (Hall A2)
Best short films from the film festivals organised by the Faculty of Informatics
Film festivals organised by the Faculty of Informatics are a favourite showcase of short films of various genres, dating all the way to 2001. The best films are evaluated by a panel of judges and viewers. Most of the creators and authors are students of practical seminars taught at the Faculty of Informatics, with the exception of the recent 19th festival held as part of the celebrations of the centennial of Masaryk University, where a much broader group of authors entered their short films. We have prepared for the MUNI 100 Festival a selection of the most successful films over the whole history of the festival. The programme can be found below.
All afternoon The Czech Television Cinema
Morava Hall
Screening of Czech Television documentaries dealing with personalities or topics closely related to Masaryk University.
Programme is only in Czech.
All afternoon 100 Years - 100 Stories
Relax zone (Hall A1)
Masaryk University is mostly about its people: students, teachers, scientists or graduates. Where there are people, there are stories. We are bringing you 100 stories that have managed to bring together and change the society. The exhibition introduces 100 stories in ten topics which cover the entire scope of activities of the university and its role in the society.
All afternoon Guided tours of the theatre building
Designed by architect Emil Králík for the Exhibition of Contemporary Culture in Czechoslovakia, the cinema-café was built in 1927–1928. Shortly after completion it was adapted to serve the needs of theatrical performances, which included the enlargement of the orchestra pit and the stage and the construction of dressing rooms for performers and a storage room. During the exhibition, the 800-seat theatre saw daytime theatre performances and evening movie screenings, especially period journals and educational films. Directly accessible from the foyer was a café with terraces facing the promenade of the exhibition grounds. The cinema and theatre existed, albeit limited, during the 1930’s. During the war the cinema was named Deutsche Lichtspiele.
The building is currently closed, as it requires total renovation. The opening during the MUNI 100 Festival is a unique opportunity to see it.
Guided tours for MUNI 100 Festival visitors will take place on 15 June between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
All afternoon Guided tours of the tower
Built in 1928, the functionalist reinforced concrete tower with the typical glass structure is the only remaining tower of this type. It is 42 metres tall and you will need to climb 176 steps to get to the top. It is normally closed but during the festival it will offer a splendid view of the city and its vicinity.
Visitors of the MUNI 100 Festival will have the opportunity to visit the tower on 15 June from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m
